How can I sell my handmade skin care products online.?
you could easily build a website, but to actually SELL online you may need a more expensive site than you can afford to start out with. the easiest way to start is on ebay. for only $16 per month you can get an online store and the listings get less expensive. but you would need to list 21 items a month to get the best value for your ebay fees.

i've watched a lot of homemade products fly off the pages of ebay. it may sound basic, but it's really amazing how many ppl make a great little (or big) store on ebay.

good luck.
Reply:Hello..I can help you with the distribution and also I can help you creat an online store where you can sell your product..If you are interested you can contact me on tundexman@yahoo.com

Do they allow you to own skin care stuff or cosmetics in women's prison?

Me and my friend are having a little debate. She said Paris Hilton is going to have a rough time because they dont allow cosmectics or lotions or skin care stuff. you have to use what they have. But I dont see why they wouldn't allow you to have something as simple as face soap or lotions....
Do they allow you to own skin care stuff or cosmetics in women's prison?
No you can't bring in anything that is liquid. Who's to say that that isn't some type of potential toxic liquid? (Think of the new security precautions when flying.)
Do they allow you to own skin care stuff or cosmetics in women's prison?
They do not.
Reply:Why would they? Who are you impressing when you are in prison? I'm sure there are prisons that would allow it though and some that wouldn't.
Reply:um...IT'S PRISON. They are strict and just because Paris is some so-dumb-it's-sad celebrity doesn't mean she should get special treatment.

Does anyone have any advice on skin care products for young pre-teens?

I have 3 daughters, two at 9 years old, and one at almost 11. I would like to get them started taking better care of their skin, but don't know where to start.

That is so good teaching your kids to take good care for themselves. First of all if you want to teach them right, teach them not to use products formulatted without animal products and formulatted without mineral oil. Mineral oil is the 2nd worse thing that you could do to your skin, (#1 is the sun), it is like rubbing car oil on your skin and exposing it to the sun. Animal products come from rendering plants what these plants do is pick all dead animals from road, meatmarkets, etc., and put them inside a huge pot, squash everything inside, boil it and the oil that comes to the top is what companies use to formulate their "beauty" products. I would have to recommend using Arbonne products, these products are botanically based and do not use none of animal products (they are BEAUTY WITHOUT CRUELTY) they do not use mineral oil (nor the derivates of petroleum) they are hypoallergenic, pH balanced, recommended and used by dermatologyst, well they are just great. I started using them a few months ago and I would have only wished to have known them before, they have been 25 years on the market and you can only find them through independent consultants through out the country, I live in Puerto Rico and I can tell you that the sun is #1 in aging signs so the use of these products help you to diminish the signs and have a great and healthy skin. I order the products online at: https://secure.myarbonne.com/arbonne/arb... and what is also great is that if for any reason you do not like a product you can return it and they will send you the money.....even if they are used... no other skin care company will accept that. For your girls there is a basic line called Arbonne Inteligence and they could only use the wash, toner, and moisturizer. Did you know that the first lines tend to appear at the age of 20? So if you prepare your girls to take care from now when they reach our ages they are going to look just great, so hats off to you for taking such great care of your girls......

great stuff, little spendy though - good for mom :)

i would start them out with some simple face washes like Noxzema.
Reply:I cant give any ans on products but I can advice you to eat alot of vegitables.
Reply:as they are too young u can use fruit pulp or tomato pulp to apply on the skin as it has a lot of nutrition in it. take care they have lot of water %26amp; have lot of veggies. morover wait for 3-4 years for knowing their skin better. later-on u can them to the beauty salon but not now.and an important point wash face with fresh water as many times as u can in a day.
Reply:If they have oily skin I say Johnson %26amp; Johnson Clean and Clear products if the have dry skin or combo skin I say Aveeno skin care products. Lots of water, fruits (especially those packed with fiber grapes, apples, cherries, etc.), veggies. Stay away from granulated sugar, carbonated drinks (they also cause cellulite), and make sure they get at least 8 hours sleep a night.
Reply:Skin doesn't begin to age until you reach 25 years old, so skin care for teens is really not a major necessity. Start them off with good hygiene, a good all around cleansing routine, like a cleanser with magnesium in it (Dior makes a great one -- it's a pink gel and lasts forever) because magnesium will equalize, if you will, your skin, make it normal instead of oily or dry.

A good mud mask as they hit their teen years once a week will help to keep blemishes at bay. Also, a good -- I want to call it an apricot scrub -- to slough off dead skin cells, also once a week. More than that will actually damage the skin.

Incidentally, if you are starting to, ahem, look your age, a good scrub will also make your wrinkles look less noticeable.

Hope this helps,

Rebecca

Has anyone tried using oxygen botanicals skin care products?

Is it effective? How can you compare it to the Obagi Skin care products?
Has anyone tried using oxygen botanicals skin care products?
Your skin absorbs everything you put on it. It goes straight to your blood stream.

Pro Active has harsh minerals for ingredient. I found they made me tired and eventually ate away at my skin. I found that proactive bleached my towels and clothes... I was super mad!!! I didn't even bother sending it back...

I stated using Mary Kay, then I ended up selling it... Facial skin needs a balance of being clean, refreshed, refined and moisturized...

Lack of moisture in your skin creates acne... I know it sounds odd... most people think "my face is oily, I need to wash it before I breakout"

Microdermabrasion is a good way to get ride of dead skin cells (which cause breakouts also) ...

Clinique has good facial cleaning products. Lancome sells AWESOME moisturizers... MAC's cleaning products are horrible for your skin ... they are more of "get the makeup off my face" type of stuff... so...

My acne was not horrible. I only had a few blemishes, but I still wanted a pure complexion.

I use Airbon now. It is an all natural formula. I love it! I have the perfect, un blemished skin now!
Has anyone tried using oxygen botanicals skin care products?
Adding oxygen to your skin is the opposite of what you want to be doing. You want to control the free radicals by consuming antioxidents - so why would you want to add more of them with oxygen. Obagi is an excellent skin care line. Also see www.lexlimd.com this is an amazing skin care line developed by a plastic surgeon.

Please tell me what kind of skin care product should I use while I am on Isotretinoin. Can I use acne treatment

Please tell me what kind of skin care product should I use while I am on Isotretinoin. Can I use acne treatment like Murad and Proactive? My face are so dry so as my lip.It is true if you pick your face it will leave scar when treatment is over? How long do I need to take Isotretinoin?Thank you.
Please tell me what kind of skin care product should I use while I am on Isotretinoin. Can I use acne treatment
These are questions you can call the derm adn ask him. actually, go schedule a visit maybe, and they can give you free skin lotion samples that will help.

You need to be on isotretinoin for months.......and more.

I am on duac and tazorac. It makes my face peel which helps with scarring........

as for lotion, it depends on what you can afford, but i found that

I bought creams vs. lotions will help with dry skin.

Eucerin is excellent over the counter.

You could try almond oil, actually Jojoba oil is excellent at promoting skin healing. and a more natural product.

if your face is so dry adn peeling, when you re washing your face, use a wet/warm wash cloth to gently rub against your facial skin to help exfoliate, this will help too.

Lavender essential oil is excellent at deterring germs and good for acne too. and gentle on the skin. look on line for essential oils dealing with acne/ google it.....
Please tell me what kind of skin care product should I use while I am on Isotretinoin. Can I use acne treatment
I'm not to familiar with the the drug isotretionion but i do know that if you face is dry %26amp; your lip as well its best not to use products liek Murad %26amp; Proactive as these products contain Benzoyl Peroxide which can dry the skin out more. so just stick to mosturising and a lip conditioner such as vasiline ( its an oldie but fantastic) and you can even put it on the dry arears of your face too. its not to harsh. good luck.

P.S: dont pick at all, i know it feels good but it will leave scars that will leave you feeling bad in the future.

Reply:Get some pine tar soap in either bar or liquid form and wash the affected areas with this. Pine tar soap is available at lehmans or on ebay. Rinse with a solution of 50% apple cider vinegar and 50% water. Pat dry rather than rubbing. Additionally, ingest at least a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar every day. You can add it to your apple juice or a glass of water or make a kind of tea with it by adding it to a cup of steaming water or have a salad with apple cider vinegar and oil as the dressing. This will help work on the problem from the inside while you are working on the problem on the surface.
